Assembly Day June 21, 2025

We’re assembling something BIG—and we need your hands and your heart!
Please join us for our June iCARE4 Schools Connection Kit™ Assembly Day!
If you care about education, mental health, and strengthening families, this is your chance to be part of something meaningful, fun, and deeply impactful.
📅 When: Saturday, June 21
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Where: Christ Church – 100 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest (Basement)
What’s Happening:
Our goal is to prepare and send out 1,000 Connection Kits™ to more schools across Illinois. These kits include over 20 essential resiliency oriented, hope focused resources in English and Spanish for teachers, social workers and support staff—tools that help students from adoptive, foster, and kinship families feel safe, seen, and supported.
How You’ll Help:
You’ll join a fun assembly line—gathering brochures, posters, and tools and placing them into envelopes for schools. We’ll pack them up, share some snacks, and make a huge impact together.
Why It Matters:
There are over 300,000 children in Illinois from adoptive, foster, and kinship families. That’s three in every classroom. These children often carry hidden wounds—separation, loss, and disrupted attachments that affect how they learn and connect.
With your help, we can get these free, resiliency oriented, hope focused resources into the hands of educators and school social workers who can make a difference.
Snacks + Smiles Guaranteed!
We can’t wait to see you there and work side-by-side to create hope, connection, and support for kids who need it most.
