One year ago, iCARE launched Connection Kits with a simple but powerful intention: to tangibly support the professionals who show up every day for children carrying complex stories.

It is an honor to work alongside school social workers, educators, and providers who absorb pain and still bring resilience and light into their schools.

Connection Kits are more than classroom tools. They are intentionally aligned with the gold-standard TF-CBT framework, meaning each item reinforces the same shared language and skill-building happening in therapy. Home, school, and clinical support working together, not separately, reduces confusion, strengthens the team around the child, and builds continuity and emotional safety.

In just one year, 1,850 Connection Kits are now in the world, in schools, homes, and providers’ offices, helping create regulation-ready environments and a full circle of care around children impacted by adoption, foster care, kinship care, and other complex life experiences.

This is what systems-level support looks like. This is collaboration in action. This is how we help children feel safe enough to learn and belong.
