The Connection Corner is a heartfelt YouTube read-aloud series featuring adoptive, foster, and kinship parents, caregivers, and youth reading children’s books that reflect the beauty and diversity of real families. These short videos offer comfort, visibility, and connection to children who may not always see their own stories reflected in classroom or library books.
Every child deserves to recognize their family in the stories around them: to open a book and see love that looks like theirs. Through these read-alouds, we hope to create that moment of belonging for children and spark meaningful conversations among educators, caregivers, and peers.
