Resiliency-Oriented, Hope-Focused Professional Training

Schools can be powerful places of healing—when we understand the “why” behind behavior and the needs of children in adoption, foster care, and kinship families. iCARE’s Connected, We Thrive™ Series equips educators, school mental health professionals, and support teams with the tools, language, and frameworks they need to create welcoming classrooms where all students feel safe, seen, and supported.

Each workshop can be customized for your audience and includes hands-on materials, breakout sessions, and a focus on real-world implementation.

  1. Beyond the Family Tree: Building Schools That Heal with Connection
Supporting Children from Adoptive, Foster, Kinship Families
  2. From Cradle to Classroom: Building Resilience Through Every Age and Stage for Children with Complex Family Stories
Supporting Emotional Growth Through Resiliency-Oriented, Hope-Focused Care
  3. It Takes a Team: 5 Essentials for Supporting Kids in Every Kind of Family
Practical Tips for Educators, Social Workers, and School Counselors

Will You Help us give kids what they need to thrive in school?

We’ve already made a BIG impact delivering 1,000 Connection Kits™ to schools. But right now, we’re just short of our goal to produce and deliver another 1,000 kits to schools across Illinois.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 99-1493489), and donations may be eligible for employer matching to amplify your impact.
