School Training and Support

Creating Schools Where Every Child Can Thrive

iCARE4 Adoptive And Foster Families is a hope-focused, systems-change nonprofit transforming how schools support children from adoptive, foster, kinship, and transitioning families.

Through our bilingual Connection Kits™, dynamic workshops, and statewide advocacy, we’re helping educators build trauma-aware, identity-affirming classrooms where students feel safe, seen, and supported.

Backed by evidence-based frameworks like TBRI®, Hope Theory, and the Neurosequential Model, iCARE is bridging the gap between education and mental health—and leading a movement to make belonging part of every child’s school day.

We believe connection isn’t extra—it’s essential.
Let’s build schools that heal.

Will You Help us give kids what they need to thrive in school?

We’ve already made a BIG impact delivering 1,000 Connection Kits™ to schools. But right now, we’re just short of our goal to produce and deliver another 1,000 kits to schools across Illinois.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 99-1493489), and donations may be eligible for employer matching to amplify your impact.
