iCARE Graduate Scholarship Update:

More Time, More Options

We’re excited to announce an extension of the iCARE4 Adoption Competency Scholarship for graduate students in school social work programs. This scholarship supports future professionals in gaining adoption-competent training — equipping them to better serve adoptive, foster, and kinship children.

With this extension, students now have more time to apply and more flexibility in how they use the award, whether for tuition, training, or professional development.

This is about building a future-ready network of adoption-competent professionals who can walk alongside children and families with the specialized care they need.

We believe in equipping the next generation of social workers to make a difference for adoptive, foster, and kinship families. That’s why we’ve made the iCARE Graduate Social Work Scholarship more accessible:

  • Deadline extended — Apply by February 15, 2026

  • Flexible training options — Choose the path that fits your schedule:

    • 17-hour free C.A.S.E. training

    • OR 1-hour Beyond the Family Tree workshop (a $29 value — free with code*)

Whichever option you choose, you’ll gain tools to support children and families — and still qualify for the scholarship.

Take the next step today and invest in your future impact.

Will You Help us give kids what they need to thrive in school?

We’ve already made a BIG impact delivering 1,000 Connection Kits™ to schools. But right now, we’re just short of our goal to produce and deliver another 1,000 kits to schools across Illinois.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 99-1493489), and donations may be eligible for employer matching to amplify your impact.
