UPCOMING CONFERENCES

Proficio's 2024 Conference: The 10th Anniversary
We are proud to be presenting "The Need to Know" - Shining a Light on Supporting Adoptive, Foster and Kinship Children on 12:00 - 1:15pm on November 15th.
This workshop presentation fills the gap in current trauma-informed training, offering not only education from the National Training Institute at C.A.S.E. on evidence-based best practice recommendations for assessment and support, but personal illustrations from real families. You will gain new perspectives from lived experiences of “laugh-cry moments" in families’ lives. It emphasizes the need to take into account the impact of attachment and early childhood complex trauma experiences on current social-emotional and academic functioning and how you in the school social workers can play an integral part in their healing and functioning in school and families. It encompasses learning standards of knowledge, equity, transformational processes, culture of collaboration and leadership.
