Every Story Counts, Every Child Belongs

In every classroom, there are children whose stories begin with adoption, foster care, or kinship care. Their journeys are unique, their challenges and strengths diverse, and their voices deserve to be heard and understood. At the heart of inclusive education is the belief that every child should see themselves reflected in the pages of a book—and feel supported by the adults around them.

That’s why we’re bringing inclusive, diverse books to school libraries that honor the experiences of children in adoption, foster, and kinship care. These stories don’t just fill shelves; they open hearts and minds, creating spaces where all children feel seen, understood, and valued.

In tandem, we’re equipping educators and school professionals with specialized mental health training to better support these students. This training gives educators the tools to understand the emotional landscape of adopted and foster children, helping them build resilience, foster belonging, and nurture their mental and emotional well-being.

Together, we can create a school community where every child feels they belong—where their story is celebrated, and their mental health is supported.

Join us in transforming our schools into spaces of empathy, inclusion, and growth for all students.
