Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current NTI Training: Schools are eligible for the drawing if they have at least one staff member actively participating in NTI adoption competency training for school-based mental health professionals during the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Completed NTI Training: Schools are also eligible if they have staff who have already completed NTI adoption competency training within the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Coordinated Training: Schools are eligible if they have coordinated specific training dates with NTI for staff during the 2024-2025 school year.

How to Enter:

  1. Verify Participation: Schools must submit proof that they meet one of the eligibility criteria (either a staff member currently enrolled in the training, a completed training, or coordinated training dates).
    • Proof examples:
      • NTI registration verification of school professional with completion of Module 1 or
      • Proof of completed training (certificate of attendance) or
      • Confirmation from NTI of scheduled training dates for school staff to start prior to October, 2025.
  2. Submit Entry: Schools should send their proof of eligibility to boundforbelonging@icare4aaff.org by the entry deadline, April 30th, 2025.
  3. One Entry Per School: Each eligible school will receive one entry per year into the drawing, regardless of how many staff members are participating. School districts with multiple schools taking training will be allowed one entry per school in the district. 

Drawing Details:

  • Drawing Date: Winners will be drawn the week of Memorial Day, with notifications sent by the end of May.
  • Prize: The winning school will receive $200 worth of adoption, foster, and kinship books for their school library. The titles may be self-selected by the winner from iCARE’s list of adoption, foster and kinship related titles.
  • Notification: The winning school will be notified via email by May 31st, 2025, and the announcement may also be shared publicly (e.g., via a newsletter, website or social media).
